Why Child and Parent Support?

Practically every family has challenges at different moments – AND that makes your family a human family and normal. Kids do not get a manual on how to navigate life and parents, you do not get one either on how to raise them! One of the most courageous things you can do for yourself and your family is to ask for help. That is where having a qualified third party to shed light on dynamics and changes that could be made to increase your families’ connection, love, and communication.

The Walking Meadows Coaching Process:

How does the coaching process work?
1. Call/Email for a complimentary session that lasts up to 25 minutes.
2. We decide on which coaching package is right for you.
3. You will be sent a payment service link.
4. Pay using all major credit cards after you receive the link.
5. Schedule session(s)

How are sessions experienced?
Individual Coaching sessions can be experienced in-person locally indoors or outdoors. They can also be experienced via a video conferencing platform. Group parenting classes are experienced only virtually and in a closed group. This means that all parents start and end together and this promotes a higher level of confidentiality.

What do I need to bring?
You will be expected to use your best judgement based on the coaching session you have chosen. Here is a sample list of what you should consider bringing:
• Willingness to change
• Open mind
• Notebook and writing utensil

How do I pay?
All coaching services must be paid 24 hours prior to the appt. Parenting classes – the expectation is to pay the entire balance up front as we are holding a spot for you that cannot be replaced once classes have started. If there is an extenuating circumstance, this must be discussed as soon as possible.

I accept Square payment and Venmo business service. You will be sent a link once you have chosen a coaching package or parenting class.
~Thank you~

What if I am late or no show?
Please contact me via text or call if you are running late and notify me of your situation. You will still be charged for that session. Please note that sessions may not be able to be extended and this will be addressed on a case by case basis. If there is a “no call no show”, you will still be charged for your session that was missed. In addition, cancellations must also occur 24 hours prior to our appointment. I understand that extenuating circumstances and emergencies can be a part of life. If you should have an emergency come up, please notify me within reasonable timing and we can discuss the situation. Parenting classes – the expectation is that you show up on time for the class. If you are late, you are missing vital material, information and experiences that will benefit you and getting the most for your investment. You can request to have a phone make up session but there may be an additional charge based on the circumstance and it is at the sole discretion of Walking Meadows as to if there are any additional fees incurred.

What is your style of coaching?
My style of coaching is flexible depending on what your needs are. That being said, I believe in being honest and gently guiding you towards what may be holding you back. I have a unique insight that allows me to see layers into a person or a situation. There will be moments of quiet reflection and moments where it may be challenging but I will be present with you throughout your process.

Do you have a sliding scale?
At this time I do have a sliding scale and I am willing to discuss your needs and open to finding a way to move forward.
